The odds of this backfiring on him in the future are great.

Forgive me my angst, I suppose. I just needed....closure. Sorry for waiting so long to post it, it was...difficult to write.

Once again, I'd just like to thank everyone whom I've had a chance to get to know in the last 2 years. I wish you all well.

And as a side note for the people who'd care and keep track of such things... aside from the baby's gender, it's open ended. I didn't decide whether the baby lives or dies(Who knows if Pern can handle a 33- to 34-week preemie?), or even if anyone but the Healers was notified and called in and was there. Feel free to play around it and assume as much as you would like.
